I volunteer at Barons Court Project on Friday afternoons. I work full time, but my employers have let me work more hours earlier in the week to balance out my volunteering. I help out with the Women's Group and then spend a couple of hours doing one-to-one creative writing work. I volunteered a lot with homeless people while I was at university and have really missed it since, so I'm glad to have found somewhere with space for me to play a real role in the life of the project.

Volunteer
I started volunteering at Barons Court Project mainly as I had become aware of the increasing number of homeless people and wanted to do something to help within the community.
I work full time but really enjoy volunteering when I can. My duties are to help the project workers with the day to day running of the project but mainly spending time chatting with the service users. I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing and interesting people from all different backgrounds.
I enjoy running, music, spending time with friends and family and I am currently learning to play the piano! (Badly).
