“I volunteer at Barons Court Project on Friday afternoons. I work full time, but my employers have let me work more hours earlier in the week to balance out my volunteering. I help out with the Women’s Group and then spend a couple of hours doing one-to-one creative writing work. I volunteered a lot with homeless people while I was at university and have really missed it since, so I’m glad to have found somewhere with space for me to play a real role in the life of the project.”
