Meet the team

  • Michael

    Director
I have worked for charities for over 25 years, after completing my studies in Theology. Most of my work has been with people who are homeless and I have managed a number of hostels. I joined The Barons Court Project in 2014 and really enjoy my work leading the community here, it's a great privilege. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, meeting up with friends, occasionally cooking and love an evening out with Karaoke.
  • Ni Win

    Financial Controller
Before I joined Barons Court Project in March 2017, I have over 10 years' experience in various business sectors including education, fashion, retail, wholesale and hospitality industries, but never in a non-profit organisation. It is a fantastic opportunity for me to work at BCP. This is because it provides me not only to gain valuable new work experience but also to make an invaluable contribution to help people in need. Here I meet with a great team of individuals who are working as a team to provide a great support to our service users. I am very grateful to be part of this. I really enjoy the friendly and supportive working environment here. When I am not working, I spend time with my family, hanging out with friends and I travel whenever I get the chance.
  • Tim

    Social Enterprise Manager
Having worked at various charities and doing volunteer work at Barons Court Project previously, I joined the team as Social Enterprise Manager in 2022. I have seen a lot of the benefits of BCP, enriching the guests with positivity and helping them on their individual journeys. I spend a lot of time working with the artists of the HomeLess Made collective and have been developing all sorts of exciting projects for them to grow on their artistic endeavours. Outside of BCP I love to go to the cinema, enjoy reading, writing and keeping fit.
  • Marius

    Project Worker
I started at Barons Court Project in September 2023. I’m a support worker and although it’s demanding, I find this role fulfilling. I have a background in American history and politics, and my life goal is to contribute to the betterment of our communities.
  • Izzy

    Project Worker
I've just returned to the UK from Denver, CO after 11 years in the States where I studied Psychology at University and began my career in the mental health field, specializing in crisis interventions for homeless people. Serving the homeless community has been my life’s passion and I feel so honoured to have the opportunity to work alongside such a compassionate, community-driven team for an often forgotten yet wonderful client population in this incredible city. Outside of work I enjoy playing guitar, exploring the city, attempting various and often ill-fated creative endeavours, and playing fetch with our sweet dog Scout!
  • Danny

    Project Worker
I started at the Barons Court Project in September 2025, after completing a degree in History. Before university, I lived in a L’Arche community in Edinburgh alongside adults with learning disabilities. I saw, and am passionate about, the power of community in building a more just, inclusive and loving society. I am excited to work with the guests at BCP, and have felt really welcomed by everybody here. In my free time, I enjoy watching cricket, reading, and playing football and tennis (both badly!).
  • Simon

    Chef
I returned to the charity sector during the COVID lockdown and feel extremely privileged to be cooking for the guests at Barons Court Project. The project relies on food donations so it often feels like I’m a contestant on ‘Ready Steady Cook’ trying to come up with interesting recipes with random ingredients! I live close to a beach in Essex and in my spare time I enjoy taking my dog Piper for walks along the coast.
  • Kevin

    Volunteer Coordinator
Having worked across a number of sectors, primarily in people management, I came to BCP as the Volunteer Coordinator in 2025. My studies in politics at the undergraduate and masters level gave me an understanding of and passion for change through community action. I’ve really enjoyed working with our lovely guests, as well as meeting our many friends throughout the borough. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, running and meeting friends.
  • Fiona

    Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager
I have been fundraising for local homeless charities for 20 years (The Upper Room, St Cuthbert’s Centre and Shepherd’s Bush Families Project). I am delighted to join the team at Barons Court. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, playing tennis and bridge.
  • Henry

    Individual and Corporate Fundraising Manager
I am delighted to have joined the family here at the Barons Court Project, following a 20 year career in sales, fundraising and marketing. I have lived in and near the borough for 20 years and have raised two children and a dog who consider themselves Londoners. I play football badly, lose frequently at chess, but I do enjoy occasional wins from my efforts in the garden and allotment.
