What our stakeholders think

“The Baron’s Court Project has been a vital partner to our drop-in and Foodbank project on a Saturday, which complements their weekday provision. They have generously shared resources and expertise, most recently gifting us £1,000 worth of key supplies when they had a surplus. We are incredibly grateful for all they do in supporting the most vulnerable members of the local community and supporting us to do the same.”

Rev’d Sam Rylands, Vicar – St Andrew’s, Fulham Fields

“Barons Court Project is a vital resource in reducing the numbers of rough sleepers in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Having a service in borough that offers hot meals, showers, clean clothes, and workshops to rough sleepers has enabled Outreach and the council’s housing department to offer a safe space for those that are homeless on the day.

Positive feedback has been received from H&F Housing Officers advising how BCP staff have supported clients to submit homeless applications, submit evidence to support applications and at times support clients into temporary accommodation by printing off maps and giving directions. At times, all in one day.

H&F Thames Reach Outreach Team have a close partnership with BCP and support rough sleepers to attend the project helps build rapport with hard to reach individuals.  Over time, relationships have been built with rough sleepers with complex needs to enable them to engage appropriately with services.  This has created housing options and pathways off the street which Outreach would not have been able to do whilst the rough sleeper was bedded down in the community.”
